While crossing Lake Okeechobee we met Peg & Ed on Sea Glass. At one of our nightly stops they told us about the City of Ft. Myers Yacht Basin Marina and we are glad they did. The marina is only a couple of blocks from downtown where something is always going on.

While we wait on a good weather window to continue south we are taking in all the city has to offer.

This weekend they closed the downtown streets for an Old Car Show. 

Today we took a walk to the downtown Farmers Market. This is a weekly event that we are sure to attend as long as we are here.

The wind continues to howl with gust today 30-35 mph. As long as this continues we will stay at the dock.
