2/11/15: Ft. Myers Yacht Basin, Ft. Myers, Florida.

We continue to enjoy our stay here in Ft. Myers. The weather has been great and the downtown weekend events have been fun. This last weekend was the yearly Arts Festival. Over 200 booths located just steps from our boat. Connie (Chesapeake) and I came up with the shopping strategy of shop, return to boat & rest, shop, return to boat & rest, and repeat again and again. LOL.

Russ & Joe sought out the food section while
Connie & I shopped.

Excellent Food!

Big Boats Arrived for the Festival

The Festival was just a few steps from our boat.

Kay & Al (Knot Home) fellow Loopers stopped by to say hi as they headed back north home via car. We spent a lot of time with them last year on the 1st half of the loop. They put their boat up for the winter and will continue the loop this spring.

Kay & Al (Knot Home), Russ & Elaine (Twelve Stones),
Joe & Connie (Chesapeake) & John (Endeavor).

Sadly John on Endeavor left the marina a couple of days ago heading back to Georgia. John has been our cruising buddy since July 20, 2014 when we left Trenton, Ontario. Safe travels our friend we miss you already.
